Noosa Chocolate Factory Open its New Doors in Brisbane City

Thursday 13 February 2025: Noosa Chocolate Factory officially opened its newly expanded Adelaide Street store and cafe last night, providing an enhanced experience for chocolate and coffee lovers in the heart of Brisbane’s city centre. The much-anticipated launch follows an extensive renovation and expansion that will provide a greater offering to chocolate lovers and introduces an inviting dine-in space for customers to enjoy.

Located at 156 Adelaide Street, opposite Queens Plaza, the revamped store opening marks a significant milestone in Noosa Chocolate Factory’s commitment to delivering high-quality, handmade chocolate and premium coffee to Brisbane’s city workers and visitors.

“Our expansion at Adelaide Street is now complete, and we are thrilled to welcome customers into our newly designed space,” said Nick Southon, General Manager of Noosa Chocolate Factory. “This upgrade allows us to offer more of our hand-crafted chocolates and a dedicated dine-in area where customers can relax and enjoy our signature hot chocolate and coffee.”

This investment comes as global cocoa prices continue to rise, yet demand for Noosa Chocolate Factory’s fresh, locally made products remains strong. Southon reaffirms the company’s commitment to maintaining quality while adapting to economic challenges.

“We continue to invest in our retail presence within South East Queensland to ensure product quality is never compromised,” Southon stated. “Our chocolates are made with natural ingredients, free from chemicals, making them a unique offering for chocolate lovers visiting or living in Noosa, the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.”

The grand opening follows the successful launch of a new Brisbane Arcade store in late 2024, which has quickly become a go-to destination for seasonal and best-selling chocolates. The independent chocolatier also recently relaunched its website with click and collect and delivery options within 10km of each store.

“The reason we only deliver within a relatively small radius of our store and factory is to maintain the integrity of the product. We won’t ship our chocolates interstate until we have the appropriate packaging solutions to guarantee the chocolate is fresh and of the highest quality,” added Southon.

The expansion of the Adelaide Street location further strengthens Noosa Chocolate Factory’s retail footprint in Brisbane, allowing even greater access to its renowned confections.
The updated store features a larger retail space to accommodate a broader range of chocolates and confectionery, along with a fresh, contemporary design that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Customers can now enjoy an enhanced experience, whether grabbing their favorite chocolate treat on the go or sitting down to savor a perfectly brewed coffee.

“The support from our customers has been incredible, and we look forward to enhancing their experience even further,” said Southon. “This is just another step in our journey to make Noosa Chocolate Factory’s fresh, handcrafted chocolates even more accessible to chocolate lovers.”

The store at 156 Adelaide Street, Brisbane, is open seven days a week.

Ends.
