To ensure we keep our âMoral Compassâ on True North we continually review our sourcing with a focus on our consumables and raw ingredients. We purchase all our requirements from like-minded businesses; raw ingredients are from organic and/or sustainable farming sources (typically in Australia). Our consumables are only purchased from suppliers that have accreditations in sustainability and/or a keen eye on the impact of what they do on the environment. We work directly with trusted suppliers ensuring that every step of the supply chain meets strict ethical and sustainability guidelines.Â

We are equally as proud to be able to live our values when it comes to our environmental and social responsibilities.
We are incredibly proud of our core values and our passion for supporting sustainability, an end to modern slavery and environmental initiatives that improve the health of our planet, and we remain committed to seeking better solutions for everything we do. We do not consider sourcing or offers of supply from businesses that do not support the abolition of modern slavery, have a registered Modern Slavery Statement, or who do not seek to identify, assess, and address modern slavery within their supplier base.

We are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact at every stage, from the sourcing of raw materials to our packaging.
Cacao and vegan ingredients we source are provided to us through the Australian arm of a Swiss multi-national who are a member of a world leading âSustainable Raw Materialsâ initiative called âCocoa Horizonsâ. Our Coffee is sourced from Padre Coffee who supply us through their âGood Coffee Doing Goodâ program.

Our fun branded takeaway cups are from a Brisbane supplier – Ecobarista. All cups we use comply with the Australian Standard AS4736-2006 for commercial composting, and are endorsed with the ABA Seedling Composting logo. Taking it a step further, our shop fit-outs, including all product display crates and furniture, are (where possible) built in-house using wood ultimately sourced from regenerative foresting in Australia.
